First of all, I am thankful that a site is created for the Holy Week Processions of Malta. I was twiced in Malta, but not on Holy Week, but the Church Custodians were kind enough to show the processional images. May I know where I could buy or obtain the english literatures on Maltese Holy Week, especially the local publications printed by the Parishes? Many thanks! D. Gungon

I would like to thank you for this informative service which has come to me and many others who are so far away from our Motherland Malta/Gozo. While we are so far away we can still share those spiritual thoughts and the the memorial of the Lord Jesus the way the Cathoilic church know how to organise on our Islands. I truly thank you personally for this opportuinity as this year I can not attend at my Parish as I am indispose. However I can follow your site in the comfort of my home. Proset and I asure you that I passed the site to others. Well done. Dan huwa appostolat sabieh u denju ta' mertu. God's blessings from Sydney Australia. Bint Malta

Very well set web site, very interesting, having spent some years in Malta prior to migrating to Australia in 1964 it brought back many memories of the fine church statues and the faith of the Maltese people. Keep up the good work for the faith and the goodwill of the world.

A BIG Congratulation for this wonderful web site. I really enjoy it! A Special Congratulation to all the towns & villages who still put so much hard work to keep up this wonderful tradition. I remember especially looking forward to Easter Sunday. A great "thank you" to our grandfathers and their grandfathers for starting this fantastic tradition. I am especially partial to the Hal-Qormi procession. Being born and raised there, it makes me very proud of St. George's Church and the great things that come out of there. Viva San George! GREAT Job guys, keep it up!!! Doris from San Francsisco, California

Good initiative. I wish that my Sacred art will be known more in Malta. You can see a painting...Christ on the cross at St Francis Church, Villambrosa, Hamrun, on the right hand side a T cross, my style "scuro" and going in the sagristy of Fatima Church Gmanga, you see a painting "Christ in the tomb XiV station", besides in Cascia Italy about St Rita, and near the tomb of Padre Pio San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy again a large painting (6ft) of Christ in the tomb. Please include also Sacred Art especially about Good Friday thoughts. Keep up the good spiritual sacred thoughts you have. Prosit hafna. I used to have the 8 statues that my father bought for me years ago, made from somebody from Birgu but unfortunately these large models were sold for a few pounds to somebody in Qormi. I wonder where they are now, a model replica of Bormla statues with a magnificent beautiful of IL MONUMENT. Prosit from Artist Philippe Agius born in Cospicua.

Very nice and informative site. I do not think that there is any other country that has such pageantry and devotin on Good Friday. Very well done.

I really enjoyed looking through this, it's a great well done job. I couldn't resist though noticing that some of the statues of Jesus looks like He is posing for the photo. Apart from that, it was nice seeing them again. One suggestion is that in most of the slide shows there are quite a few of the photos that weren't allowed by photobucket, they should be changed or removed, it will look better. ( photobuckett does that a lot)

A very novel idea indeed; a good way of expats (Maltese) living in the UK (like myself), or elsewhere, to remember and reminisce the beautiful way the Maltese honour and celebrate Good Friday. Well done to the compiler(s).
